Discover 9 Practical Strategies for Engaging SEND Children and Young People

An Introduction to The Bamboozle Approach
About us

Welcome to Bamboozle

Too often in our society learning disabled and autistic children, and their families, are not heard; they are left out, made to feel that they don’t belong, let alone have their voices heard.
What we do at Bamboozle is facilitate ways for them to find their own voice. We do it by producing immersive accessible theatre which tours the UK and internationally, delivering school projects in the UK and working with families in our local community.
  • Education and Training

The Bamboozle Approach, developed and used for over 33 years, uses a range of behavioural and linguistic strategies to create engaging and interactive experiences for learning disabled and autistic children and young people. Our education and training programmes aim to share this unique approach with schools, families, theatres, artists and practitioners. We offer a range of short training courses for everyone and also create bespoke education and training programmes for schools and community organisations.
“Some of the ‘battles’ I had before working with Bamboozle are now non-existent. The pupils are much calmer and happier.”
Karen Wake – Autism Lead, Lakeside School
